Having invested Billions of $ revamping its main DRC mine in 2016/2017 , my take is that Glencore is trying to get its money back asap, especially with the shaky political situation in DRC ( presidential elections scheduled for Dec 2016 may finally be held this coming December ) + US DOJ is after them with this subpoena... They are in a precarious situation going forward.... I looked at investing in KCC last year but the country risk and the rest put me off. With COB mine safely in Australia+ no HPAL + LGI as partner I can sleep at night.
