Life of mine: by the time DFS is done i strongly believe it is will 20Y. Last year in a Nov 22nd ASX release COB indicated they had identified new areas south of Pyrite Hill.
Price: Somewhere between $25 and 30/lb and not current spot price of $ 40/lb. COB mgmt is v conservative, so I doubt they will use the spot rate like ARL did ( and CLQ back in their 2016 PFS). It will be interesting to see which price CLQ uses in their upcoming DFS also due this month.
Production: Likely 4000T equivalent metal/ y at this stage but I am expecting 5000T/ y by DFS stage.
AISC: likely around $14/ lb at this stage and $12ish by DFS. Mgmt has provided guidance on that: C1 cash costs 10 -12/ lb is their goal.
Due to the fact that COB is only focusing on Cobalt production + the ore being a sulphide one and processed at low temp and pressure, they may be able to set up the refinery faster while also facing less issues with the commissioning (common occurrence for Ni.Co laterite projects).
