Oh yeh forgot to mention the biggest battery manufacturer in the world in CATL recently released it's Sodium-ion battery the new technology entered a complex and diversified development stage, Dr Robin Zeng, founder and Chairman of CATL stated the worldwide search and development of basic materials for batteries is accelerating which opens a two way window for the industrialization of sodium-ion batteries, these batteries do not require any Nickel or Cobalt either, so it seems the biggest company's are extremely involved in eliminating nickel and cobalt from their battery compositions as well, to make safer batteries, go figure.
