Key take away(s):
Cobalt demand growth expected to grow at 14.5% per year until 2027.
5 new mines / refineries coming online 2018, 2 in 2019 and possible 2 in 2020 (not including COB). So a supply surplus for the next couple of years, depressing the cobalt price.
The lack of known projects coming online post 2020 will limit supply, therefore the demand should outpace the supply and have some upward pressure on the cobalt price.
So... next couple of years may be sh*t for the australian cobalt juniors, but their time in the sun is coming
