Yes this can only bolster the sector in that it's a pure investment play by a major corporate. Significant in that it sees EV adaptation as highly likely to occur and viable enough for it to not only acquire KDR for a good portion of a billion but to indicate it wants to apply its chemical/fertiliser/development expertise in developing the mine and hydroxide plant. Which will take another chunk of capital equal to or greater than the cost of acquiring the Mt Holland deposit.
