With some European Countries starting to ban the petrol and diesel driven cars in the future (around 2040) it will also accelerate the electric cars advancement. No doubt the other Europeans will soon follow with this decision.
I say electric because there are some companies still working on and already delivering Hydrogen fuel cell cars, As they are fast to refuel, this may be a solution to part of the problem. No doubt a hybrid fuel cell and battery powered car could also be an option in the future when all bugs are sorted out. (Hydrogen production is also becoming easier and cheaper to produce)
The good thing about this is that the fuel cells take as much Cobalt as a battery powered car takes, so I think were in a win win situation here.
