It is hard to disagree with all the evidence supporting a rapidly growing demand for cobalt but I am a bit concerned about CLQ's latest Investor Relations email that refers to Volkswagon's EV strategy and provides a link to a Bloomberg article which says this: " Even with the battery-purchase deals, Volkswagen’s power-supply issues are still far from over. The company, which has struggled to secure sources of cobalt, a critical component for modern batteries, said that it’s working on ways to reduce the amount of the element needed for its electric cars, suggesting ongoing concerns even after setting up supplies for its initial electric-car rollout." The bold reference is the worry particularly with the rapid and continuing price rise in the element.
