Have a look at London Metal Exchange copper price graph, it is falling.
Glencore's Mutanda mine reported to shutter, and it's in your favourite place ....... the Congo!
Copper price falling and thus economics says less copper production will happen. Also then less by-product cobalt will be made available.
Isn't economics a wonderful science @Black Cat, less supply in this instance means cobalt price increases to satisfy demand.
So YOU Black Cat recon Mt Thirsty will not get off the ground.
Mt Thirsty doesn't rely on the copper price or the nickel price, you got to know it relies only on the cobalt price supplemented by nickel credits.
