I'm here
I'm just quietly waiting for all the news from management.
Fundamentals haven't changed in cobalt demand picture - if anything they are looking more and more exciting by the day. But traders have rushed in and rushed out of BAR and CNJ for the moment.
Hold tight everyone - as demonstrated by much of the talk on other forums, most new cobalt investors simply don't understand the advantages of Mt Thirsty - they are comparing stocks by looking at resource size and MCAP - not CAPEX and potential speed to market, where Thirsty has a unique advantage in it's geology.
We'll soon (this week or next) have a much more detailed report on the processes that are proposed for extracting the cobalt from the Manganese - the key to the project's low CAPEX $65Mill compared to $500-$600 Mil etc.
Following this we'll have an updated flowsheet, which I suspect will include, or be followed shortly after by a new JV announcement and the inclusion of Creasy's resource too.
Following this, JORC 2012.
Soon after that, a PSF with an updated mine through-put plan. 4 or 5 tpa of cobalt?
Then a timeline for the DFS.
I think things will pick up speed once we get through this current part of the scoping study. That will soon lead to something worked out with Creasy and the project being re-launched to the world.
BAR management are extremely thorough types - not ones to shout out about what they are doing until it's well understood. I think they are excellent. Give them a call if you have any doubts.
