IMHO, I agree. It's all hunch/gut feel stuff, but the "let's see what happens" attitude of BC in those video interviews seemed to at least indicate he's backing himself in with better than a "puncher's chance" of pulling it off. Time will tell, and he has proven to be an astute CEO so far, and will surely do what's best for ICO long term.
