Open market- stockpilers pay taxes and sometimes get burnt just the same as any other trader does and let’s be honest- users of the materials can go straight to the brokers for what they need rather than fall victim to the necessity for larger orders or longer contracts than they might wish for when dealing with raw commodity producers- the brokers also may help to stabilise the type of product available & protect the factory owners from having to worry about grades as much.

All I know is we’re back on the green road.
This hopefully makes a touch of sense as we enter the electronic device etc buying spree that Christmas is, even more hopefully some of the people buying such devices will be asking themselves ‘so just what is in this great little thingamyjig I’ve bought for my loved one? All this power from that tiny little battery?! We can recharge it how many times?! Sure beats the never ending parade of dead batteries we ourselves produced as kids back in the 80’s & 90’s!’
