Footnote on any bids for ARL: I just took a quick look and Buchhorn is the only individual/entity with over 10% (at about 10.3%) so he would be the key for any bid, if he is not satisfied it can't get up.
Aside from him, it would require a small group of the top 20 to resist a bid as most on the list are around the 3%-5% range.
Personally I wouldn't fear an opportunistic or predatory bid for ARL, I think just about every holder can see that Cobalt will be exceptional over the next couple of yrs and as ARL are funded through to the DFS there is nothing to fear here IMO.
The only risk for ARL would be if someone could manipulate the price to the extent that it gets below 77c prior to options expiring. This would result in those not be fully taken up & killing off some of the funding for DFS but what is the probability of that happening? Seems unlikely.
