1. Tesla trying to shore up non Congo cobalt supply from Australia for a 10 year period.
2. Global cobalt shortage due to all the Lithium ion Gigafactories being built around the world for home and car batteries.
3. It exposed Tesla’s and the other factories future problem with ethical Cobalt supply.
4. It explains the sky rocketing Cobalt price.
