Needless to say if you have a look back at the JORC of 28/4/2015 the company openly states that "Cobalt credits still being reviewed are expected to add to the resource value" and "Significant levels of cobalt occur in the Maibele North mineralisation yet cobalt has not been included in the resources estimate. It is anticipated that the inclusion of cobalt will add valuable credits to the Maibele North ore and the resource will be upgraded by inclusion of cobalt values in due course"
The BCL smelter produced on average of 250 tons of pure cobalt over the last few years (amount of cobalt contained in the Ni-Cu-Co matte). Based on this and the companies own statements if I was a betting man I'd be putting my money on a cobalt announcement.
However cobalt occurs with nickel and they already have it. So what's the acquisition??
