Lower grades = higher tonnes = more water
More water ... from where? dry / hot area hmm ask the farmers out there about water supply and see what they tell you.
So reduced tonnes, lower grades = affected production based on higher temps.
Rainfall in the area is not really a strong point so to speak and if you go back a few years cobar had 3 mines which were in real trouble with water supply.
