BHP was born in Broken hill as the worlds largest mine of silver lead and zinc... a stones throw from Cobar in outback terms. You think THE WORLDS LARGEST and most successful outfit suffered from 40deg heat. I went to school there with no air con or fans and with weeks at a time in those temperatures.....
