If Gunson was an oil drill which I know a little more about the price would usually rise before spudding and drop substantially on spudding. In the Gunson case it has risen from the 29 it was before the drill started got to 45 and then held nicely at 39 40. One of the major differences is they do not have to run wire line logs and they can sight the core sampes and make a visual assessment. I am hoping this is causing the optimism that is keeping the price high. The last announcement was even more technical than the first and left me as a lay person none the wiser. Does anyone have any favours they can pull in from a geo to decipher for us?

On a Coburn note I read an interesting piece in the International Herald Tribune which said that two of Chinas four biggest TV manufacturers are planning aggressive international sales in 2006. TVs being one of the biggest users of zircon in bodes well for Gunsons offtake negotiations.
