Cockatoo will be used for the life of mine for Irvine island, it will be the hub for accomodation etc.
This saves a lot of infrastructure on Irvine, this means a lower environmental footprint. Important point here !!
Irvine will be developed in parallel with any work needed on Cockatoo.
Irvine will take about 18 months to 2 years from ground breaking to export. Cockatoo should be ready almost straight away.
