It's like Coca cola turning the water tap on in factory A and then taking the water to factory B , 6 kms down the road for adding of cola concentrate and final bottling.

DSO of 2mt per annum. How much weight can the barges carry 10tonne? That's 200,000 barge loads per year
Don't know how long it takes to load a barge but you wouldn't want to keep the excavator waiting. So, how many barges will PLV buy, 5000? No idea.

And will this transport to Cockatoo restrict them to working only in daylight?

Iv'e heard of the strategy before but looks wobbly to me.
