As it was only a few cents for you I doubt they will send you a cheque but most probably use the other option in their letter and magnanimously donate it to a charity. I'm still in the red but continue to purchase more when finances allow. I feel I will be in the black sooner or later.

Thanks for letting me know... definitely was not aware of this share sale... happy to be done with it tbh.. so where is the record of this sale so i can claim the loss on my tax return then? I do not see anything in my trading account the shares are just gone...
