I hope these numbers come out OK. I believe that they will announce a loss. The gold market has not been what they wanted and the competition has come out with similar products. Regarding the radios, I do not think that an order for over $1.1M AUD which is just under $810K USD is not an impressive order...on the positive side, it is the first order for this product to the US "government agency" which could be any agency in any state providing public safety.
I have been holding on to the stock for over 2.5 years and have not been able to break even with Donald managing the company. I liked Codan when they were a satellite/radio company...given the world market for mining needs and CAPEX cutbacks, the just-over-a-year-old management at Minetec will have a hard time trying to sell their product, once finished, into a market place that is trying to eek out cents per ton.
I really hope that they are able to pull a rabbit out of a hat tomorrow, but I do not think they have the management to do so and I will find myself waiting another 2.5 years hoping that I will be able to break even.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and if it does reach $1.4, I will be happy...I also need the AUD to strengthen to the USD, but that is whole different story.
