Yesterday I read NMC's last agm report, this is a massive company and one that has won many awards one of which was environmental such as re-afforestation of mining sites.
With regards to ESI I doubt that whoever went to India on the off chance of meeting with and discussing clean coal technology with them. Mail and telephone conversations could have been going on for quite some time so plan B was in the pipeline. NMC has an engineering division so if an agreement comes about for them to produce coldry there then there would be no outlay for ESI.
This is conjecture and could be many years to come to fruition, there is the possibility for the Indian government to also come to party and look for more ways to encourage company's to use more cleaner air technology which is why there are wind turbines, and nuclear. If anyone knows about power being generated by one of the dams in South East Queensland so clean energy is being produced now.
