    Cooper Energy today announced it is buying Santos' Victorian gas assets for $82m using a big CR. Have a look at their announcement on ASX. I don't presume to offer an opinion on whether this is a good price; many others will.

    It does point to STO still in asset disposal mode. Perhaps they might now take CTP's low-ball offer for Mereenie.

    RC is in ramp-up mode, fighting the ugly monopolists, perhaps with a view to a CR.
