LOL. My sister got one of those pod coffee machines. My brother in law knows I like my on the stove perculated espresso so offered to make me a pod coffee.
I have to admit...it tasted spot on.
Everyone goes on about how a cup at the cafe costs $4/5 and the pods work out around 70c(pack of 10-depending on what you buy and supplier etc). That's all and good if you drank your coffee at a cafe. But home brewed coffee with top notch beans costs about 25c per cup.
I think I should set up a pod import business. The suppliers are laughing all the way to the bank. Some machines won't accept other makers pods, I find that a bit too 'commercial ripping off.'
Anyway, we had to have a new gadget for the kitchen and IMO the pod coffee concept is a winner.
