Maybe it's more a question of who threw the bone? I don't think it was the directors.
I was better-than-free-carried at that time. I bought more with my profits as the price rose.
Then, in a panic one day as the price was rising rapidly, I hit the "Sell" button instead of the "Buy" button.
Then bought back in a few minutes later, at a higher price. Profits (and more) gone in a flash.
Then, just after the price hit it's peak, my bloody computer died.
I live on an island and it took me two months to get my computer to the mainland, repaired, and back home again.
By then, all the meat had been ripped off the bone and many of us were left with only a bad taste in our mouths.
With painstaking trading of share price fluctuations since, I've been able to lower my average price-per-share
by more than twenty cents, but I'm still more than $71,000 in the red.
@SuperTrumpy 's second course would be a very pleasant surprise indeed, but I can't see it happening.
