Ha, ha.
No sea shells, but I do have ten bunches of bananas due to ripen within the next five months, and eight pumpkins almost due for picking, so at least we won't starve - for a few weeks, anyway.

And yes, the light of hope grows ever dimmer... flickering... not quite extinguished yet, but the "patience of capital" IS dying of starvation.

As this is a shareholders' forum, and the directors ARE shareholders who undoubtedly READ the comments and opinions expressed here, it would be a much-appreciated gesture of good faith if they were to also participate in the forum - informally, not subject to ASX rules, as they would be entitled as shareholders to do - and give us some insights into their hopes and aspirations and thoughts on WHY they have not succeeded in commercialising ANYTHING in twelve years. Some exposure, vulnerability and truthful sharing would go a long way toward dispelling the adversarial "them versus us" sentiment that has been gaining strength for some time in the comments expressed in this forum.

Charles, Matthew, etc., you ARE reading this, so how about "coming onboard" and talking to us conversationally about where you see OUR company going, and what you see yourselves being able to do - for the rest of us - in the near, or even foreseeable, future? Why have all projects looked at so far proceeded to a promising-looking point... before just evaporating, never to be heard of, or about, again? Are you really using us to subsidise your own life-styles, or is there some missing essential expertise in the present personnel structure which is preventing development work so far from getting to market? As longstanding shareholders, we would prefer to go on thinking well of you and having faith in you, but your absence of comment in the face of rising cynicism, anger, despair - and long-term significant financial loss - makes that ever harder to maintain. Your continued silence and non-response to this challenge will inevitably reinforce the validity of the rising sentiment being increasingly expressed herein, and harden that sentiment against you.
