Back in 2004, Benitec sponsored a ddRNAi trial for HIV at the City of Hope. While we did not continue to pursue this strategy, the CoH did. In 2007, as a follow up to this work, the CoH started a ddRNAi treatment for Lymphoma suffering HIV patients.
This study enrolled ten patients and concludes next month. This means that we could see results from both Calimmune and the CoH presented at the conference in August.
