If people subsequently push the stock up... will you do the opposite and then follow the crowd again to buy in at a higher price?

I can't see how you can win with that kind of thinking... be the last one in after the price has been pumped... be the last one out after the price has been dumped.

Unless you can time it and not be the last in on the way up and last out on the way down, I just can't see how you can win without an enormous amount of pure luck.
