I don't know much about Bipolar Disorder and can count the number I people I know who suffer from the condition on one hand with fingers to spare. The few people that I do know with this condition suffer from severe mood swings - highs and lows. The manifestations of these mood swings can include feeling undervalued and a need to be recognised. Medication can help, but the effective combination of a cocktail of drugs is often a tricky exercise. --- I suggest that we should be careful when criticising to avoid making a potentially difficult situation worse. This is a general comment and it is not aimed at anyone.
