psi81, things look dire because of the share price? because a few traders today decided 'hey let's swap these shares at 20c' when a month ago the same traders were like 'hey let's swap these shares at 40c'. It's nonsense trying to judge the big picture from the actions of geeks behind computer screens in smogged filled cities.
Cash burn is so high partly because of the spend on the BFS, the PFS on the Surat and Sydney basin projects. Remove those expenses, and COK is a $40-$50 million cash generator per year. And I'd highly doubt COK would be pursuing the Surat projects if it didn't have the nod from KEPCO and the barallaba expansion without the nod of POSCO. When the money is needed, they'll be there.
