NEW YORK - Coca-Cola Co., the world's largest soft drink maker, said Friday it will phase out its Vanilla Coke and Vanilla Diet Coke beverages in the United States by end of this year.
The announcement came just a day after Coca-Cola said it will phase out the brands in the United Kingdom early next year. The company said sales declined.
Coca-Cola said it plans to introduce Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke and Black Cherry Vanilla Coke in the United States in January 2006.

ATLANTA - The Coca-Cola Co. said Monday it will launch a no-calorie version of its trademark soft drink called Coca-Cola Zero in the United States in June.
The drink will be sweetened partly with a blend of aspartame and acesulfame potassium. Aspartame is a key ingredient in Diet Coke, but a spokesman for the Atlanta-based company said Coca-Cola Zero will have a unique taste.
The new drink will have its own marketing campaign.
Not so new news after all. Thats why the price hasn't changed. Then again Coke is the master of advertising
