"Second greatest after whom? Elon Musk?"
    .
    Not even worth a response.
    .
"So let me get this straight, if Trump causes inflation and therefore things to cost more for consumers, that's a good thing?"
    .
The abhorrent government waste of resources on so called renewables needs to be payed off somehow. The waste on social diversity programs needs to be paid off somehow. People can't get a free ride forever... otherwise we get the end result of socialism with the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer... ultimately ending with slavery... but that's what lefties want, because lefties have been pissed ever since the conservatives ended slavery and it's why Trump is the greatest since Lincoln... Trump is make the lethargic wanna be bourgeoisie get back to work and pay for the utopian dreams of "renewables" and other such social folly. So, by introducing tarrifs, people are facilitated into free choice working roles rather than being coerced into poverty then slavery.
    .
This drives inflation and as the hydrocarbon bond is a fundamental unit of currency upon which all other production and work relies, demand will naturally increase. Supply remains relatively constant and price rises.
    .
Its not rocket science, it's basic economics. Something that common sense people understand. Unfortunately, society has a lot of brain washed tools who believe in utopian ideas of "renewables" in an unconstrained world of no money... but they forget that money is required as it gives feedback on ideas and activities which are productive... because without money people can't actually do things... and money, at its most essential core in a modern society, is linked directly to the hydrocarbon bond, because, without energy, people can't do things.
    .
See the connection yet? Inflation is incoming and it will drive the price of coal... or... coal price will rise because the value of a "renewable economy" falls. This is what's going to drive the next leg up for coal. Argue your green nonsense all you want... if you do green what you say, you'll end up poor... but you're already a bell boy... it's just that you can't see why!!
