There's been a ~6.5-7% drop in AUD, but a 22% drop in thermal coal price, and a ~8% drop in coking coal price. Add in whatever the increase in costs have been as well. For my money, WHC gets interesting at the $5.50 level. There doesn't appear to be a genuine catalyst for coal prices to go up. Now when I say genuine, I'm not talking the cheer squads "Northern Hemisphere/Polar Vortex!" Because clearly that didn't do anything (The same way it didn't do anything the previous two years).
