    LT, coal as a commodity is a 'must-have' across the developing-world, economic-development requires both phenomenal quantities of steel, and electricity, demand may fluctuate on geopolitical influence, and traditional 'cyclical' influences...

    Once WHC debt i(balance-sheet) is stablised, and the 'commodities cycle' reforms itself, geopolitical-turmoil subsides (could be while there though), and cash-cost reductions are stable, there's a proverbial 'cash-cow' sitting there, WHC doesn't buy 5-10 year 'life-of-asset' operations, it focuses on long-life assets with >30-year demand life--cycle assets, plenty of quality assets in WHC quiver...

    Myself, I don't think WHC is a 'short-term' play, there's plenty of other more volatile plays out there, I picked up my first tranche way back at sub A$2,, and continue to accumulate directly, or via rolling into WHC DRP...
