I agree @hagetaka Trump is doing exactly what his voters wanted him to do. Lower the cost of everything and make things more efficient again. The tariffs are a negotiating tactic. As everybody knows when you buy a house you don't put your best offer in first right. He is doing the same, calling countries bluffs and seeing what they will give America. The big risk here that he is doing though is imploding all markets, then we are all in the sh!tter. It will be interesting to see what tariffs other countries tit for tat with or whether they come to the table or not. In the meantime oil is dropping, interest rates will be dropping and this is a massive reset that we needed. Inflation wont get out of control as the price of oil implodes. In 12 months time we are going to be in a bull market IMO. There is massive pain to come though. I guess this is why you never invest money that you need in the next 12-18 months, always keep that in the bank.
