Okay, but Trump says "Tariffs dont cause inflation...(they cause success)".
But if importers are forced to pay import tariffs of 10/20/30/40% etc. And this is passed on to consumers. Then, isn't that inflationary?
Supporters keep saying this is a negotiating tactic (The Whitehouse has said both that they will not backdown from tariffs, and that they will negotiate...which one is it?).
"Think about it mate. Even WHC shares are cheaper already."
Well, he's certainly making stocks cheaper. I'll be buying some quality stocks that are on sale. WHC is not one of those though.
