. Coal is going to be used to generate electricity for decades, if not centuries. If it's to deep to harvest as a DSO product, it'll be tapped for gas by either fracture stimulation or UCG. In Europe NATO has been willing to aggressively militarily engage Russia for control of the Donbas coalfields by sacrificing millions of lives on the fields of war. China is currently being aggressive over the methane sitting on the South China Sea floor and threatening violence towards those who would challenge for control of that resource. You should stop believing all those dogmatic conspiracy theories you were brainwashed with during your "bell boy" degree... there is no 5-10 year transition away from coal to "save the planet"... that's nothing but utopian nonsense...
