time will tell. i do recall looking back in 2022 and moved on as i thought it expensive. very similar with lithium.
ive moved some funds into both coal and lithium in the last couple of months snd happy to wait and see. ill never pick the exact bottom, but id rather have some rather then none cause ill stand by waiting for a pullback that never comes.
just an initial purchase and once i get more conviction in a bottom ill put some more in. that conviction will be a combination of gut feel, technically, my macro view/outlook for coal, the usd coal price, the AUD, our local interest rates or my financing cost as well as more confidence from the company itself after following a bit more closely now i hold.
im happy to wait with these div yields and the buy back is a factor for me as well. healthy balance sheet, whc can weather the storm. met coal isnt going anywhere.
