It's unfortunate, I was hoping for more fact based analysis. I enjoy and welcome seeing contrary viewpoints.
The popular argument here appears to be:
a)China is planning/building more coal power plants; so
b) It follows that the coal price will rise.
Yes, the first part is true -- China is planning/building more coal power plants. But as I have explained, it does not necessarily mean that the coal price will rise.
I've explained why a) does not necessarily lead to b) -- and I would invite people to show why my arguments are wrong.
