    -I never said coal prices are going down -- I said there are reasons why (I believe) they might not recover. They might in fact go down, but I do not recall predicting this as the most likely result.

    -As I said earlier, there is no conflict between believing on the one hand that coal prices will not recover, while at the same time believing that a given coal company is a good buy at the current share price. Any solvent company has a potential share price where its shares are good, bad and fair values. I do not comment on WHC's price predictions, I am on this thread which is aimed at commenting on coal prices.

    -I'd be interested in people's opinions why coal prices will recover that go beyond a simplistic 'China is building power plants' and 'AI will increase demand for power' -- I'd be interested in an an analysis that takes into account obvious points such as the substantial increase in coal supply, and nuances such as utilisation rates meaning that only some of the build of new power plants translates to higher demand.

    I appreciate some persons (such as yourself) might not like my analysis due to the fact that they feel threatened that the facts do not fit into their self-serving narrative, but I am not here to please you.
