    hey beaver, i'll have a read when i get some time (at work). ALthough I am abit confused by your example. if NPV is $0, and the price increases from assumedly $100 to $180 which results in a $80 a tonne increase, what NPV would one get to indicate a multiple of 10x?? maybe if NPV had a number it would make more sense to me? I'll have a read of the link anyway to see if it makes more sense after. If it's a video i'll haveto watch it tonight outside of work.

    agreed though - obviously anythin gin the ground is still potential that you own, kind of like saying the real estate is worthless, but it doens't stop the market from not assigning much of a value in irrational times unfortunately.

    I belive the IER valuation during the takeover did not take into account coking coal deposits in the ground when forming the range price from memory??? But it did include NCC in addition to Kangala?
