Did some digging today about the short selling, evilbear is spot on. AKM is able to be shorted but trying to find an institution that offers the stock to short the stock is tuff. I have looked through the last weeks short sales reports and have found the following results.
June 8th Available Tommorow June 7th Available Tonight June 6th 25362 Units Shorted / 4.32% of trade June 3rd 69050 Units Shorted / 5.62% of trade June 2nd 620 Units Shorted / 0.03% of trade June 1st No Shorts May 31st 485971 Units Shorted / 13.66% of trade May 30th No shorts

So as you can see from these figures the shorting atm is very minimal. I also looked back a month or so and there has been minimal volume going through. The avergage is less than 5%, going by the data i accumulated. However there was one date that the shorting was heavier May 31st. Which means that the weakness in the share price is lose hands and poor market conditions. GL to all holders
