coking coal price up 50 percent

We are hearing reports that a spot coking coal deal was recently concluded at $150/t fob Australia, more than 50% above the annual contract settlement of $98/t. Although we expect the market to soften slightly by the end of the year, this development highlights the upside risk to our 2008–09 contract price forecast of $125/t.
