Indocopper, I see you have really been on the mighty Barito River. It is certainly an unreliable highway. To suggest that one could walk across the river in the dry season is stretching/embellishing the truth.
In 1997, locals played soccer on the river bed. This was the worst dry for many decades. I was there and we did not have a mm of rain in 11 months.
I have seen the coal quality data and my estimate is that it is similar to Yarrabee in CQ. It has some properties superior to Yarrabee so would expect a small premium on Yarrabee price.
That said, I agree with you regarding level of engineering, nondisclosure, inadequate drilling, discounting of river trafficability etc. Relating it to dumb dumb BHP is lot valid. Adaro are currently deciding what they will do with that resource.
