Low value thermal coal is my understanding.
The positive with that is that many Indian power stations are built to take low quality high pollution thermal coal which is why they may be interested.
The stumbling block in any deal would I imagine be whether there is a bottleneck at the South African ports meaning CCC can only sell their coal at very cheap prices to domestic consumers in South Africa.
Maybe someone who knows CCC better could comment on the economics ? The lack of cashflow may suggest my initial guess is correct.
