I would suspect that a centre on the goldcoast would be highly sought after given the population increase and increasing wealth of QLD given the resource boom. Let alone what sounds like a significant option for expansion.

I will be very interested to know what the outcome is, however it just doesnt feel right unless the centre had to be buldozed or something?
