Please remember that this came from a mate , who knew a Centro bloke, so I have no idea as to it's truth. I also have never been to the SouthPort centre, so have no real idea, HOWEVER, I was told that it was up for major upgrades and structural regeneration,which had been 'booked' to be started,. Perhaps, due to recent issues, it was liquidated as a going concern, and the new owner would take on the restructure.If this is the case, maybe land value was only taken into consideration, with property on site being the 'discount'. Merely a hypothesis, so may have no balls at all in the rumour...
