I think there is a lot going on in the background that cannot be announced yet. I think the longer Bet goes without news, the closer we are to news. Sometimes deals take longer then expected, delays happen. It does not necessary mean it is not going to happen.

1. According to a recent newspaper article this week, it seems that News Corp looks like it is close to making a decision about who it wants to partner with. Looks like Betmakers is one of the last options standing for them.

2. Also for the sale of WA Tab, looks like Tripp is one of only 3 parties left, according to The Australian Newspaper. I think Tripp would use Bet's technology for WA Tab's backend.

3. Based on the announcement Bet made in relation to Tabcorp earlier this year, I would think the discussions are still being had with Tabcorp, however I would tend to think that not much may happen until the Tabcorp demerger has been completed next year.

4. It is inevitable that other US states that have legalised Sports Wagering will embrace Fixed odds wagering. There maybe some hesitation due to a perception it could cannibalise para mutual, but if they don't, Sports wagering will probably impact horse wagering. So they either change or change will eventually be forced upon them.
