Back to lifestyle thread health advice as there are always such helpful people here

I think I've had 1 cold sore in my life probably 20 years ago and it was in the corner.

I think I have one now but it's on my top lip and it kind of goes a bit above it ?

The question is I would have 3 day growth today what do I do ? On one hand I imagine it's probably much better for it to heal and less irritated on fresh skin but shaving would be the ultimate irritation ? Although I think it would be very hard to heal if I don't shave for a week or how ever long it takes to heal ?

Plus I get annoyed & irritated unshaven for more than 3 days anyway lol

What to do what to do - shave or not shave ?

Plus any good remedies to speed up the process ?
