Port Developement at Hastings will provide economic advantages to Victoria ,supporting a potential 20 million ton per annum export industry in Coldry,not just to Vietnam but also to other states in Australia.
With the price of black coal staying above $100 per ton the $45 per ton of coldry represents an excellent alternative.
Infrastructure Australia recognizes the overall benefits to existing industries , LYP, ALCOA, AND THE REVENUE to the state government, by expanding Hastings.
